Meet the face
behind the practicum

Hello there! My name is Tess Johnson, and I am a senior at the Colorado School of Mines, majoring in Mechanical Engineering - Aerospace and doing the McBride Honors Minor in Public Affairs (hence why I have a practicum, if that wasn't obvious before). In school, I'm usually running around doing one thing or another, from playing the cello in the Mines Philharmonic Orchestra to being President of Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Outside of school, I love to trail run/hike/backpack/kayak/climb (I think you get the gist), as well as travel and attend live concerts.

I'm a firm believer that this world and the universe beyond are worth exploring firsthand. I hope my practicum can spark a desire to walk out on your life path with intention, and maybe even a little bit of trail magic.
